On October 1, 2025, the Northside Kiwanis Club, a local volunteer service organization dedicated to improving the lives of children; visited the Atlanta Police Department Main Precinct (Zone 2) and Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 21 to show appreciation for our community’s first responders. Club members delivered several dozen boxes of donuts and coffee as a token of gratitude to the men and women who work tirelessly to keep our children, families, and neighborhoods safe.
Division 1 Lt. Governor and past President Dr. Brenda Smith, shared: “It is such an honor for us to recognize the efforts of our first responders. Their dedication ensures the safety of our children and the community at large. We truly appreciate all that they do.”
The gesture was warmly received. The firefighters of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 21, expressed their gratitude: “It feels great to be recognized and appreciated within the community.”
The Atlanta Police Department also thanked the club for its support.
