SERVICE LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS (SLPs)

Building leaders through service

Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs (SLPs) help young people grow into confident, capable leaders by combining hands-on service with leadership development.

Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs are age-appropriate clubs that give young people a place to lead and serve. Each program is designed for a specific age group and focuses on:

  • Service projects that address local needs (from hunger relief and literacy to environmental cleanups and fundraising for community partners)

  • Leadership opportunities such as holding officer roles, leading committees, and presenting ideas

  • Personal growth through goal-setting, public speaking, collaboration, and service reflection

  • Community connections by partnering with local nonprofits, schools, and Kiwanis clubs

Together, these programs form a pathway of service, helping members build confidence today while preparing to lead tomorrow.
